Infographic: The Collaborators of Christopher Nolan

The folks with recently reached out to me to ask if I’d be interested in helping create content for them. I put together an infographic for them, and it ran yesterday. With the theatrical release of The Dark Knight Rises just around the corner, it’s officially time to get excited about the film. And you can be sure that you’ll see a lot of familiar faces. Like most directors, Christopher Nolan has a troupe of actors and a production crew that work with him on many, many films. This infographic illustrates just how many collaborators Christopher Nolan has, and how many times these collaborators work with him.

  1. That’s really cool! Any chance of making one for Fincher? Would love to see that!

  2. Fantastic. You could do a series of these with different directors. Amazing.

  3. As Christopher Nolan’s biggest fan, I applaud your effort here. That’s awesome!

  4. I have to agree with everyone else here John, you truly are the master of the infographic, for what it is worth… you are a legend!!

  5. Very good! Nice look also!

  6. Wow John, you’ve outdone yourself! This is a beautiful infographic and so informative! Like Scott said, you are a legend! Btw, I’d add Cillian Murphy also as he’s been in at least 3 of his films.

  7. heyzeus

You should definitely do one for Wes Anderson, but the x-axis on your graph will have to be really long to include all of the Bill Murray appearances.

Your infographics are so simple and informative and perfect. I love the hell out of them. Great work here.

  9. Awesome little infographic here! The final countdown to TDKR has really begun 🙂

    • Thanks, Jaina! The question now becomes “Do I want to deal with the crowds and see it opening weekend?”

More likely, I’ll take an afternoon off and catch a matinee next week.

  10. You missed Cillian Murphy. Was in Inception, and in all of the Batman movies.
