Classics don’t get nearly enough love in the stick figure canon. And I don’t think musicals have ever made an appearance. Today, that all changes. And the source of today’s Great Moment in Movie History Using Stick Figures features a Hollywood legend- Gene Kelly. Modern film historians need only point to Gene Kelly’s August 23rd birthday as proof of his immense talent. All of the world’s best and brightest have been born on August 23rd. The long, illustrious list of August 23rd birthdays includes Barbara Eden, Jay Mohr, and Shelley Long (and me). But I digress. Here’s Singin’ in the Rain, using (usin’?) stick figures.

Love it. And don’t forget Wendy Pepper, Bone Crusher and Will Cuppy. (Yeah, I googled August 23 birthdays.)
Yes! Bone Crusher!
Love!
Thanks!
HAHHAA! I loved this film so much..you forget Gene Kelly’s dance sequence!
There’s a solid chance I’ll be revisiting this just for that scene.
You should. This scene is perfection
Another great one canned here! I thought you were gonna pull off the one hanging to the light poll… But we can feel the rain after all!
It was a real toss-up between that scene, and this one. Something about the three bright yellow rain slickers just struck me as just right. Plus the stick figure rain.
That’s incedible. Honestly, just astonishing… 😯
Ha… It’s one of my faves from this series because of how stupid it looks. I couldn’t keep a straight face when I created it.
Profound and deep, definitely. Also hahahahahaha.
