The Funniest Things Being Said (By Real Critics) About Jack and Jill

There seemed to be a collective nationwide groan the instant that people saw the trailer for Adam Sandler’s latest movie, Jack and Jill. It should surprise nobody that it’s bombing with critics. But it’s not just bombing with critics. After all, critics give bad reviews all the time. This particular dud is drawing out some serious cynicism and snark from film journalists. I understand that a lot of this is piling on, a series of critics hoping to one-up each other with an over-the-top dig at the movie. Essentially, it’s shooting fish in a critical barrel. But on the other hand, I think these quotes are hilarious, ripe with schaudenfreude. Ironically, they may just be funnier than the film itself. Here are some of my favorite shots, delivered by critics, aimed at Jack and Jill.
