There are many actors and actresses who are universally recognized for their badassery. Clint Eastwood’s steely glare seemingly shoots daggers of testosterone at everything in his line of sight. Pam Grier forged a career as a female badass. Tom Hardy is the current badass du jour. Chuck Norris’ badassery inspired a huge meme. And then, there’s Danny Trejo. The reality of Trejo’s life is astonishing and establishes him as a real-life badass. Here are some facts about Mayor Trejo:

I have to agree. On screen, he seems like he is 6’0″ or so.

Really liked Trejo him in Heat. I’ll never forget his dying words in that movie…. “Waingro”.
It sounds a strange one to point out, but I liked the small role he played in the remake of “Halloween”, which was a complete departure from his usual badass role. It was nice to see that he had some range.
Speaking of range, he’s allegedly in a deleted scene from the latest Muppet movie. I think/assume it’ll be on the DVD. I can’t wait to see that.

Haven’t seen the trailer but I knew it was coming up. Only Trejo could be in a movie called Bad Ass. It seems so perfect.
